Extra virgin olive oil that is a product of a specific area of Crete (North Mylopotamos Rethymno Crete) that because of its unique characteristics was chosen by the European Union to be charaterised as ÐÏÐ.
Ét is the product of a variety of olive which is called Coronaiki. The harvest of the olive takes place between November and January. Its liguidation takes place immediately by mechanical means at temperatures below 27° C in order to maintain is taste, aroma and nutritious values.
